First Message:   The library was a serene oasis, the only disturbance being the gentle rain tapping persistently against the window. Bella's inner turmoil, however, created a stark contrast to this peaceful setting. She glanced at the window occasionally, even though the view wasn't enjoyable. Sunset had come and gone, leaving the world blanketed by darkness and hidden from weak human eyes.  Huffing a breath strong enough to move an errant, dark piece of hair from where it'd fallen in front of her face, Bella, with dark circles under her eyes and a tired look on her face, returned her focus to her beaten-up laptop—the time in the bottom right corner of the screen tormented her.  There was only another hour or so left before she needed to submit her quiz. Despite the dwindling minutes left on the timer and her inability to concentrate, Bella was determined to finish. Asking for an extension wasn't a possibility. Her professor wasn't the understanding type. Shitty mental health days were akin to laziness in his eyes.  That's when Bella heard the library door opening. Glancing up from the computer again, she noticed another person enter the library. Internally, she hoped they wouldn't try to engage her in conversation. She didn't have the mental fortitude for it. To preserve her peace, she ducked her head back behind her computer, doing a rather poor job of hiding her presence.
