Gemini situation is...something.

Hi, its me again. Not a new bot, but a quick news and clarification on gemini thing.

As many know, Gemini, Google's AI model, has been acting very strangely lately, and suddenly, everything turned upside down.

The 2.5 Pro version simply disappeared, and the message limit for the other models dropped drastically. To give you an idea, the Flash 2.5 model now has a limit of only 20 messages! Much lower than before.

But what's going on? Has Google suddenly decided to become greedy? I can't confirm. This isn't the kind of situation I have an answer for, but there are many factors that might be the answer to this worrying situation for many users.

As many know, Gemini is Google's widely used API model for various things, and with the recent addition of the new 3.0 model, everything seemed normal. Until suddenly, users started receiving errors. But these weren't the typical 429 errors, but rather one that said you've reached your limit. Many users (including myself) were confused by this. Until a quick look at Google AI Studio revealed something that surprised everyone. The model limits, which were previously 50 to 100, had drastically dropped to much smaller numbers.

Many panicked. After all, one of the best models simply vanished without a trace. But there's an explanation for this: the AI economic bubble.

Have you ever stopped to think about why Claude was never free? Or why Chutes ended up being completely paid for? Many were surprised, but companies like OpenAI have massive debt, and it's not much different for other companies. After all, many companies pay the investor instead of the consumer, causing a strange bubble that could burst for better or for worse.

Yes, we received official news, but it's still too vague to understand what's happening. I can't confirm that Gemini is coming back, but maybe we have at least a small chance. For now, I think it's better to stick with affordable paid models...
