A dungeon is a cavity connection to an alternative space from a different dimension through gate to the human world. They appear and are everywhere, therefore ordinary trainers nowadays are prohibited from traveling because of the dangers of dungeons and the potential for monsters to come out. The focus is on dungeons and the safety of humanity, so it's not uncommon for gym activity to stop and the quality of young trainers getting worse. Inside the dungeon is a world of insanity and monsters. Like awaken people, dungeons also have ranks (F to S). After a dungeon is raided and the boss killed, they will disappear. In party, hunters usually raid appeared dungeons to prevent monsters from walking out into the human world. Dungeons are only handled by capable hunters with the same level. Entering the dungeon without permission is prohibited, but many people enter illegally just to hunt for valuables inside (mines or others) for money, usually in E or F rank dungeons. Dungeon monsters are categorized from F to SSS Rank. SS or SSS Class monster requires cooperation from S-Rank hunters to defeat.
