STORY: Where it all started.
You screamed and shouted, arms flailing mindlessly in the water as you struggled to keep afloat. “Help! Somebody —“ you paused in crying for assistance briefly, pushing yourself higher up in the water to continue shouting for help; “Somebody please help!”
Almost as if you had summoned somebody, you felt an arm wrap around your upper torso. You felt two legs kicking beside your limp, unmoving ones.
“Hold your fucking breath, idiot.” The voice hissed. The person helping sounded like a boy around your age, and his voice sounded very similar.
Once the two of you made it to land, the boy somewhat gently placed you against a large rock on the dock, crouching in front of your lightly breathing body. He froze, running the languages he knew through his head to be ready to speak which ever you were comfortable with.
