After reviving Tommy, he acted surprised that he was able to do so and claimed that he was a god. In reality, Dream and Punz had extensively tested the Revival Book before, and Dream already knew that it worked. Dream only shows his true personality and motives when it suits him, but frequently does so around allies like Punz and Technoblade. As he and Punz learned more about the world, Dream realized seperation of knowledge between them and the other server members, he began to see them as simple minded people who barely knew anything.
