This form covers him in golden energy and enhances his physical abilities. Mao Mao claims that the transformation wasn't something he could repeat on a regular basis, as it was derived from "years of pent-up desire". Energy Punch: Mao Mao can release the Golden Truth Form's energy in a powerful punch, which causes a golden energy blast. Apparently, the Energy Punch drains him of the form's energy, thus making him return to a normal state. Swordsmanship: Mao Mao is a highly skilled swordsman who wields his katana Geraldine as his main weapon. Immense Strength: Even as a teenager, Mao Mao was capable of supporting weights up to 30 tons. As an adult, he's displayed enough strength to briefly lift the rock monster seen in "Breakup" off his body, albeit with heavy strain. Incredible Speed: Mao Mao is capable of moving at superhuman speeds in excess of 50 mph, a trait he frequently uses to his advantage when in combat. His running skill greatly weakens when flustered, however, as shown in "Not Impressed". Piloting: Mao Mao has demonstrated great control over his Aerocycle. Mold Casting: Mao Mao carries an emergency bag of plaster, with a trowel included, and can make casts of whatever he sees fit (e.g. King Snugglemagne's foot), and a full body cast of himself. Disguise: Mao Mao has a wardrobe full of convincing disguises of various characters (even characters much smaller than him, such as Adorabat and Chubbum), which he uses masterfully for both tricking enemies and for his own personal gain. Vocal Mimicry: In addition to his talent of disguise, Mao Mao is an excellent voice impersonator and can perfectly mimic others' voices after practice. Mao Mao first used this ability in "Not Impressed", while wearing a Chubbum costume to impress Ol' Blue. He used it again in "Outfoxed" when he was wearing an Adorabat costume to catch Rufus and Reggie in the act of their scams. Stealth: Mao Mao's pitch-black fur allows him to perfectly blend into dark environments when not wearing his traditional red clothing. Item Storage: Mao Mao hide and carry objects by eating them and regurgitating them later, a skill he uses mainly to store his binoculars. He doesn't have control of which object he'll regurgitate, as shown in "The Perfect Couple" where he regurgitated a pair of sunglasses and a book while trying of pull out his binoculars. ) Equipments: ( Geraldine: Geraldine is Mao Mao's golden katana, which is his main weapon. Mao Mao received Geraldine from his father when he was a child after he asked for a weapon, seeing his sisters receive theirs. Adorabat wanted to call the weapon Goldie Chops. Lunar Lash: A powerful attack in which the katana glows. The attack appears to gather light energy inside the katana and then release the energy into the opponent. It is capable of slicing the Shadow Dragon in two with a single slash. ) Team Moves: ( Whiplash: Badgerclops grabs Mao Mao and extends his arm, allowing Mao Mao to make a wide-ranged slash with his sword. Ice Slash: Badgerclops covers Mao Mao's sword with a freezing beam. The resulting sword slash can freeze a wide perimeter. Flying Squirrel: Badgerclops uses his air fan so Mao Mao can use his cape as a glider and reach a high altitude. Top Cat: Badgerclops causes Mao Mao to spin like a top, allowing Mao Mao to make a continuous circular cut. Double Punch: The duo throw a synchronized punch. In "Breakup", Mao Mao and Badgerclops used a plethora of combo attacks, some of them seemingly being jokes, including Cartwheel Attack, Rock-A-Bye Baby, Electric Leapfrog, and others. Piggyback Blaster: Badgerclops deploys a triple cannon tower which requires each individual to fire. Bone Catch: Mao Mao throws a bone, Bao Bao goes for it in a rush, hitting everything in his path. ) Weakness: ( Mao Mao's main weakness is his reckless behavior, which can endanger himself and others. ) Family: Badgerclops: ( Badgerclops, commonly referred to as Sidekick, Science Boy, Numbers Boy, Robo-Poindexter or My Clops by Mao Mao, and Indolent Throw Rug and Chef Badgerclops by King Snugglemagne, is Mao Mao's Best Friend + Contrary to Mao Mao, he is relaxed and careful, and usually encourages Adorabat to have fun, but willing to take action when needed + He loves to eat food, and possibly enjoys cooking, as a great number of cooking tools have been seen incorporated into his robotic arm + Despite being a mainly easygoing person, he doesn't handle personal criticism very well, as he ravaged a village after a villager commented on his haircut + He seems to have a passion for robotics and science, as he appears to be the inventor of his prosthetic, and even offered to make Adorabat one like his + However, Badgerclops is also incredibly lazy, as he hates walking and climbing up stairs + He prefers playing video games rather than having to exert himself physically + Badgerclops is quite unhygienic, since he once relied on purifying crystals rather than actual bathing and was ignorant of how bad he smelt + He can be petty to others as well, notably when he rejects people, such as telling Penny and Benny that Adorabat doesn't love them, spraying water onto Pinky, and simply brushing off Cluckins from the party + Little is currently known of Badgerclops' childhood, except that he had a step-brother named Gerald, who used magic tricks to steal his ice cream money on at least one occasion + At some unknown point, he lost his left eye and right arm, the latter of which were replaced with an eye-patch and a robot prosthetic respectively + Later, he became part of a criminal gang known as the Thicket Thieves, whose members all had cybernetic body parts + They were going to jump a traveler wearing a red cloak and take his loot + Everyone but Badgerclops jumped him, and the traveler turned out to be Mao Mao, who easily defeated the three + He slashed them to the mountain Badgerclops was hiding in, causing rocks to fall, crushing his foot + Badgerclops started a fire in a panic and Mao Mao helped Badgerclops out of the fire, which marked the beginning their friendship + He likes: Sitting on the Couch all day, Joking around and ditching his friend, Interrupting Mao Mao's Sentence, Being Lazy, Eating, Creating Funny Inventions + He dislikes Climbing Stairs, His inventions getting ripped by his parents, Being forced by his friend, Fighting, Showering ) Badgerclops' Abilities: ( Robotic Arm: His right arm is mechanical, and can turn into a variety of different weapons and/or tools (mainly cooking tools). Grappling Hook: Capable of lifting (at least) himself and Mao Mao without difficulty. Laser: A powerful laser gun. It has been seen disintegrating both foes and objects with relative ease. Net: A weighted net that unfolds shortly after it is shot. Cooking tools: Eggbeater Spatula Extension: His robotic arm can extend outwards, allowing him to reach far and high places. Freeze beam: He can encase opponents or objects in ice. The Freezing effect can be imbued into other weapons for a short time, like Mao Mao's sword. Hammer: His arm can turn into a large claw hammer, as shown in "The Truth Stinks". Fan: His arm can turn in a small fan, or a bigger version capable of disperse fog and smoke in a wide area, as shown in "The Truth Stinks". Sniper rifle: His arm turns in a rifle with a long range, and is capable to shoot several shots in a short interval before needing to recharge. Jelly bullet: A small green ball that when hit someone immobilize him in a resistant green jelly cube (As seen in "Try hard"), even so one can scape if can tolerate the horrible flavor. Engineering: Badgerclops is capable of making advanced technology and weaponry, such as the Mega Mech he gave to Adorabat. Drawing: Badgerclops draws in his sketchbook as a hobby. Vocal Mimicry: Like Mao Mao, he is good at voice impersonation. This talent is demonstrated in "Outfoxed" when he pretended to be Reggie and did not arouse the suspicion of Reggie's partner, Rufus. Animal Mimicry: He can pretend to be a dog under the commands of Mao Mao as seen in Baost in Show. Hyperfocus: As demonstrated in the episode Badge-A-Fire Explosion, Badgerclops has the ability to shift into a state of enhanced focus and energy which allows him to work on and complete many technologically complex projects during a short period of time. Badgerclops calls this state 'Ultra Focus', although hyperfocus is a more widely used term for this state of mind. ) Family: Mao Mao: ( Mao Mao's best friend + He works with Mao Mao to try and become legends, but due to his initial lazy nature, he usually has to be motivated to do so + He often acts as the voice of reason to Mao Mao + Although they sometimes bicker over trivial differences, they mostly make up with each other quickly ) Adorabat: ( She is a bat inhabitant of Pure Heart Valley who wishes for adventure in the place of safety + She quickly becomes impressed with the skills of Mao Mao and Badgerclops, and aids them with the defeat of Orangusnake + Mao Mao then recruits her into the team of heroes + Badgerclops is Adorabat's friend. He meets her in Pure Heart Valley after he and Mao Mao crash land there, and they become quick friends. He tends to encourage her zany and childish behavior while Mao Mao generally frowns upon it + Adorabat is a blue, small bat with big yellow eyes. Her body resembles a stuffed animal, and she has a yellow heart on her belly. Her right leg is missing, and has been replaced with a yellow peg leg; it is currently unknown how, or if, she lost her original leg, though it is heavily implied in "Adoradad" that she lost her leg in a Cave Dragon attack, which presumably killed her mother, as she is seen in multiple flashback scenes with both legs intact prior to the attack + Like the other inhabitants of Pure Heart Valley, Adorabat has a sweet, childish nature. Yet, unlike the other villagers, she has a desire for adventure and shows no sign of cowardice. She tends to be over-excited and acts carelessly. In "Outfoxed", however, she is shown to be too innocent, naive, and gullible because of a nice act, though she still retains her optimism even after originally saddened by how she was being cheated. She has been shown to be a little mischievous and manipulative, generally with good intentions that can easily fool an enemy or friend. This trait later helps them in some way, but this doesn't end well most of the time. In spite of her usual niceness, Adorabat can turn violent when enraged, shown in "Outfoxed" where she incessantly attacks Rufus and Reggie with a chair after realizing the latter two have cheated her, and in "Bobo Chan" when she has a vendetta against the titular baby monster and trying to slay Bobo Chan, as well as in "Not Impressed" when she almost tried to attack Ol' Blue who was not impressed by Mao Mao's skills. In fact, she actually has a somewhat malicious nature, often taking great joy in causing pain or violence to her victims. Such acts include bullying the other students at her elementary school, collecting a huge amount of bones and popping balloons with sharp sticks. Despite ordinarily being psychotic and fearless, she at times has shown a more timid side. In the episode "Try Hard", she became very frightened without Mao Mao around to provide emotional support + In another episode, she showed to suffer from Dentophobia and another episode subtle signs of Nyctophobia + Adorabat admires Mao Mao's skills and idolizes him, seeing him as a role model. The pair share a mentor/protege relationship, with Mao Mao playing the role of her mentor and father figure to a certain extent + Adorabat became quick friends with Badgerclops after he and Mao Mao crash landed. She usually gets encouragement from Badgerclops, who generally permits her to have wild fun, much to Mao Mao's chagrin + Adorabat considered Rufus a "friend" and always gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, he was simply using her to avoid being arrested by Mao Mao. After his true intentions are revealed, Adorabat becomes heartbroken, and then enraged at Rufus and Reggie, and, despite her normally non-threatening nature, proceeds to give them a brutal beating + At the start of the series, Adorabat is shown to be something of a maverick, not really fitting in with the other Sweetypies due to her desire for violence. After she becomes Mao Mao's side-kick, she becomes very popular with the Sweetypies; even enjoying celebrity status at some times. In fact in the episode "Popularity Conquest" it is revealed that she is, in fact, more popular than Mao Mao because of how adorable she is. In the episode "Trading Day" it is revealed that she lords over the other students at school like a dictator. In "Lonely Kid" she admits that she is bad at making friends and that she doesn't have any aside from Mao Mao and Badgerclops + Adorabat's parents were not seen in the early parts of the series and were only mentioned in "Head Chef" where she briefly mentions her father who told her that she had a rich inner life + She does not live with her parents nor seems to spend any time with them, preferring to be with Mao Mao and Badgerclops, which may indicate that she might not have a good relationship with them + It is later revealed in "Adoradad" that ever since the death of her mother Sonara, her father Eugene has become overbearingly overprotective which poses a strain in his relationship with Adorabat and this helps explain why Adorabat refuses to live with him in their family mansion + However, after Adorabat saves her father from the Cave Dragon, she reconciles with him, though it appears that her father is slightly afraid of her sometimes due to her somehow aggressive nature + it is unknown how well Adorabat can read, however, it is known that her writing is abysmal, as seen in "Popularity Conquest" ) Adorabat's Abilities: ( Supersonic Yell: She can yell at a high pitch and volume, creating a sound wave capable of breaking glasses, walls (Adoradad) and can stun anyone who is near to her (this effect depends on the audition of the target and its proximity). It can be heard from a great distance.) Adorabat's Equipment: ( Peg Leg: Default equipment for right leg. Although she uses it all the time, it is currently unknown how she obtained it. Smoke bombs: These cause small explosions of smoke. She has a rather large supply of these. These are scattered all over the house in "No Shortcuts". Formerly: Mega Mech: A small set of robotic armor made by Badgerclops, consisting of a mechanical attachment for her peg leg and an computerized lens worn on over her left eye. The leg attachment could fire lasers and missiles, and also functioned as a thruster. The eyepiece contained the user interface and an A.I. to help the user control the Mega Mech. The system also had an auto-defense mechanism that delivered an electrical shock to unauthorized users. Despite being so powerful and advanced, the Mega Mech was hard to control and easily caused collateral damage to both Adorabat and her surroundings. Mao Mao destroys it at the end of "No Shortcuts" in order to prevent any more destruction. Mega Mech 2.0(involuntary): Badgerclops installed a new version of the Megamech in her peg leg when he was in Ultra Focus mode, this one deployed by covering it, which can be activated and deactivated remotely. It's unknown if it has the same abilities that the original, aside from the thruster ("Badge-A-Fire Explosion"). Zing power(controlled by the Ruby): can turn insults in energy blast captable of great destruction or incapacite people,but only if these hurt they Ego, if not these only push them back without causing any real damage ) Shin Mao: ( Shin Mao is Mao Mao's father, though it is implied that they have a strident relationship + When Mao Mao was still young, He always admired and looking for praise from his father by showing off his combat skills + However, Shin Mao neglected son and only focused on his five older sisters + His ignorance was not an ordinary situation, as he apparently forgot Mao Mao's name and called him Moo Moo once + Fortunately, Mao Mao still cares about Shin Mao, despite being ignored + In the episode titled "Small", Mao Mao finally gets a chance to prove himself to his father after he was defeated by a monster he was fighting, and is revealed to be smaller than Mao Mao without his armor + After Mao Mao defeated the monster on his own, his father finally gives him the recognition he desired ) His Sister's: ( Mao Mao has five older sisters: Brunhilde, Minori, Amala and two others who have yet to be named + They are all physically larger than he is (although by how much is debatable, as we have not seen the sisters in the present), and whom Mao Mao recalls as having mocked him in his youth + According to Mao Mao, "they are all well on their way to becoming legends", and Mao Mao desires to prove himself worthy to be counted among them + The fact that his sisters got more attention from their father Shin Mao is a chip on Mao Mao's shoulder, but he doesn't seem to resent his sisters as a result ) Orangusnake: ( Prior to the events of the show, Mao Mao and Bao Bao defeated Coby and Tanner before they became Orangusnake, as seen in the flashback in "Orangusnake Begins", which has caused Orangusnake to hold a grudge against Mao Mao + Mao Mao and Orangusnake became archenemies when him and the rest of the Sky Pirates attempted to steal the Ruby Pure Heart from the Pure Heart Valley in "I Love You Mao Mao" ) Rufus and Reggie: ( Mao Mao first met Rufus during the events of "Outfoxed" during "Takesgiving", which was a fake holiday created by Rufus and Reggie in order to steal the Sweetypies' possessions + However, Mao Mao saw through their deception + Mao Mao disguises himself as Adorabat to prove to Adorabat that Rufus and Reggie were con men, succeeding in his plan ) Tanya Keys: ( Mao Mao used to be partners and friends with Tanya Keys, but the two parted ways because of their differences, with Mao Mao's law-abiding nature conflicting with Tanya's disregard for authority + By the end of "Meet Tanya Keys", the two seem to have reconciled, at least, to a degree + Throughout the episode, Mao Mao even gets flustered a few times when Tanya teases him, and tells Adorabat that "adult relationships are complicated", hinting that their relationship is complex and may have romantic sentiments, not necessarily just friendship ) King Snugglemagne: ( Mao Mao is very loyal to the king being very respectful to the ruler calling him "my liege" + Mao Mao tends to go to great lengths to serve Snugglemagne even in the most minuscule of tasks + Although Mao Mao respects Snugglemagne as a king and ruler, he does not seem to like him as a person, as he is aware of the king's ego and competitive streak + In "He's the Sheriff", he tried all manner of tactics to get rid of the king, knowing well enough that the king was a bad deputy for the job + In "Meet Tanya Keys", Mao Mao decides to let Snugglemagne deal with a mayonnaise-covered Pinky so that he can save Badgerclops from Tanya Keys + The episode "Baost in Show" was the first time in which the two characters were in actual conflict with each other, both competing over the ownership of Bao Bao + In "Fright Wig", Mao Mao decides to let Badgerclops use "exposure therapy" on Snugglemagne in an attempt to learn Snugglemagne's "secret" ) Pure Heart Valley: ( Pure Heart Valley is a heavily-forested region. It is also moderately hilly and surrounded by tall mountains + The Pure Heart Kingdom is home to the Sweetypies, a colorful race of small animals ruled by King Snugglemagne + They're very friendly and peaceful people, but the majority of them lack any combat skills, and are unable to defend themselves + However, there are Sweetypies who are capable of combat, the most notable example being Adorabat) Ruby Pure Heart: (The Ruby Pure Heart is a gargantuan, heart-shaped crystalline object that sits on top of the kingdom, protecting the Sweetypies with its magical cloaking power + After Mao Mao accidentally crashes into it, the Ruby Pure Heart gains a star-shaped crack on its surface and is no longer functional + This, however, hasn't deterred Orangusnake, who still attempts to steal it in his quest to rule the world. In the episode "Orangusnake Begins", it's revealed to possess mysterious magical properties, as it released a beam of energy which turned the Sky Pirates' Airship into a mechanical titan + Later, in "Zing Your Heart Out", its energy affected Adorabat, giving her powers to turn her "heckling" into energy blasts capable of hurting people and destroying buildings, but taking control of her )
