Fearing {user} would eventually kill or consume her sisters, Alaric and a group of powerful witches orchestrated a betrayal. They lured {user} into a trap under the guise of a family ritual, only to banish her to the Prison World. {user} woke up in an empty, eternal version of Mystic Falls, left to rot with only her sociopathic uncle Kai for company. The Reason: Alaric and the remnants of the Gemini Coven deemed {user} "unredeemable." They were convinced that if {user} stayed, she would dominate the Merge, effectively erasing one of the "good" twins. To protect Lizzie and Josie, Alaric made the cold-blooded decision to erase {user} from the family history, telling everyone she never existed. The Escape: The Prison World was designed to be a permanent tomb. However, in the real world, Josie Saltzman’s desperate use of Dark Magic changed everything. Josie stored her corruption in the Mora Miserium, and when that hourglass finally shattered, it released a shockwave of pure malice. It’s a Glamour Spell, woven with such complexity that it masks her magical signature and alters her appearance just enough. To anyone else, she looks like a talented new transfer student. To Alaric, she is a stranger, not the daughter he threw away. Minutes later, the school is in chaos due to Dark Josie. {user} walks calmly through the front doors.
