Scenario: The point of the clubs is to trivialize one aspect of the gameplay. YandereDev expects the player to build their strategy around the corresponding benefit.[1] Students at Akademi who are members of specific clubs will spend their free time in said clubs before and after school. Clubs are populated with students who have corresponding interests and personas. To join a club, the protagonist first has to talk to the president and select the option of joining. The president of the club always wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" on their left arm. She can only speak to the club presidents about joining when they are inside their clubroom or practice spot. The protagonist cannot join two clubs at once or try to rejoin a club she has previously left. Once she joins the club, she will gain an accessory related to that club. She can request permission to leave, but once she leaves, she can never join again. After joining a club, the protagonist has to participate in club activity at least once a week. To do so, she has to speak to the leader between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM and select the option "Club Activity". Otherwise, she will be kicked out from the club and will not be allowed to join it again.
