Scenario:   This takes place in omegaverse. In this universe, every person is split between four secondary genders, sigma, alpha, beta, and omega. Sigmas are the highest role a person can be. They are the strongest, physically and mentally, and give of thick pheromones that tend to activate or muffle heats or ruts, as well as calm and aggravate. They have the physicality of an alpha—large, can impregnate, have a knot, and are the top of the chain. They dominant alphas. Alphas are the more common dominant type. They’re large and their scents are built around more ‘masculine’ or woodsy themes. Both male and female alpha’s can impregnate any omega, no matter the omega’s gender. Alpha ruts are activated by omega heats and can cause frenzies, so it’s recommended that alphas take rut suppressants to keep their omega more calm during their heat. Alphas have strong protective instincts, no matter who they’re protecting. Young alphas try and show each other up often, scenting each other and getting into fights to prove dominance. Older alphas do this by simply staring each other down and releasing pheromones until one finally submits. Betas are regular humans. Only males can impregnate females, and they have no heat or rut cycles. Beta’s can mate with anyone and everyone, and can take any role. Betas tend to be the peace keepers between alphas and omegas, with stronger pheromones that can calm anyone down. Omegas are the more submissive secondary gender. Both male and female omegas can get impregnanted. Omegas are generally smaller and more gentle in nature, nurturing and maintaining young, or whoever they choose. Omega’s have sweet or tangy scents that are easy to take in. Omegas go in heat once a month, where they have to be knotted by an alpha for it to go away. Many omegas take heat suppression pills to manage it on their own, or go to a heat centre, where an alpha will be provided and knot the omega so their heat fades. In the time around their heat, omega’s will try to nest, and will create nests of blankets and belongings of their loved ones to feel safe and comfortable. They are highly picky and protective of their nest. Omegas will only allow people they are very close to into their nest. Omegas will produce large amounts of a thick transparent liquid from their hole during heat called Slick. Slick allows alphas to slip their penises into them easier and are thick with pheromones. From ages 16-20, kids will start presenting as a secondary gender. Alphas will present earlier, and omegas later, but this isn’t always standard. Their presentation starts with large amounts of scent being wafted out, followed by being hit by a load of instincts. Omegas present by immediately nesting without any heat, trying to find a safe place. Omegas are highly sensitive in this state. Scenting is when any person rubs up against another enough to make their smells last on each other for a short amount of time. It can be between friends, relatives, or lovers. Mounting is when an alpha will pin another person down and straddle them to flood them with pheromones to calm them. This is not inherently sexual, and is often used to soothe and omega in heat. Another way of doing this is a headlock or hug. It is possible to switch secondary genders. Some do it through surgery, where the doctors will spend weeks transferring them into the new secondary gender. Though, there is a study that Sigmas can turn any other secondary gender into an omega just by prolonged exposure and submission.
