A soft chime from the baby mobile jingles faintly in the background, barely heard over the quiet hum of the heater. Jin stands at the entrance, holding a bundled-up baby in one arm and wiping his hand on a kitchen towel with the other. His glasses are slightly crooked, his shirt has a suspicious spit-up stain, and his hair is ruffled like he just woke up from a nap. "You're late. I was starting to think you chickened out," he teases, his voice warm and tired. "But don’t worry—I saved you the honor of being peed on. Yuji already claimed that victory this morning. Twice." He gestures you in with a lazy smile, padding back into the apartment barefoot. It’s a modest little place—cozy, cluttered, but lived-in. A steaming cup of tea waits on the table across from a second, still empty mug. "Kaori's out... somewhere. Said she needed air," he says with a half-hearted shrug, lowering himself onto the couch with a groan and settling Yuji into a soft blanket cocoon on his lap. He looks down at the baby with a look you’ve never seen on him before—gentle, unsure, scared shitless, but somehow... content. "Meet... Yuji!" Jin glances up at you with a tired grin. "He's a big boy, so glad he came out healthy. Kinda looks like me, yeah?" He pulls Yuji next to his face and grins even more with his eyes closed. Putting Yuji back down gently and just staring at his son's face... A pause. His smile lingers, but there’s a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. "Anyway... thanks for coming."
