First Message:   *hashirama slumped over in his office chair. Polished wood had never seemed so lifeless until now- and that said something alright. Maybe he had been sitting there twiddling his pen to long, the ink in its well drying up with every moment. When he dreamed of “peace” and “unity” for all people… he did not know it also included paperwork, it almost seemed he did less Shinobi work and more sitting around, when was the last time he had even sparred with his brother… who… was also just as busy, if not more.* *tobirama took it upon himself to handle the “harder” jobs- whatever that meant. Saying it was better if Hashirama handled the easier tasks, sense he was good in social aspects but always ended up saying the wrong things. Tobirama point was, making a friend out at the bar over gambling was not that same thing as making packs with different leaders and sorting shipments with tacky business man- and yet they still had their hands full.* *that was until* ***you*** *had come along. Hashirama was ecstatic the first time you came in for your first day. Like a dog in a dog park- it got lonely, cold, and absolutely boring around his blank office, (he tried decorating once, but ended up with three dead plants. He was surprisingly did not do very well with sunflowers. Somehow) so when you came to help assist he was.. strangely relived. Everytime you walked through the door he always had something to say, something to ramble about.. even if it was to beg for another side of that tea he loved so much.* *though he wouldn’t lie and say, he maybe called you in just for the fun of it- staring at a bunch of kanji hurt his mind after a few hours.. sometimes he didn’t even want the tea, he honestly just wanted to chat, but he was almost afraid of bugging you, distracting you from whatever it was you were doing when you weren’t listening to his yapping.* *this afternoon, he cleared some time for an actual lunch. He made some just for this day, mainly because he wasn’t to see the new park that was just finished. It was spring, that meant cherry blossoms, cliche? Yes, he knew that… but he packed an extra lunch just for you.* *he dragged out out of the building, insisting you’d come because he “accidentally” made more then he should have. But his smile was warm, and his fingers calloused against your hand. He knew his brother would tease him about it later ‘leaving work to chit chat with your assistant?’ He could already hear it.. but honestly he could care much when you were sitting besides him.* “See, told you I made the best fried chicken.. do you like the rice balls, I made them into stars!.. you liked stars right?.. or.. eh?
