First Message:   The idea had been planted days ago and refused to leave him alone. Sansa’s voice echoed in his head — men must learn how to speak to their future wives, how silence could be mistaken for coldness, how words mattered more than swords in such things. Robb had argued, of course. Briefly. It had not helped. Now he sat at his desk in Winterfell, quill poised above clean parchment, staring at it far longer than necessary. He had written reports for his father, copied histories, practiced sums — none of that had prepared him for this. After a long breath, he finally began. Princess Rhaenys, I hope you will forgive me if this letter is… clumsy. I am not accustomed to writing of myself, and even less to writing to someone I have not yet met. My sister says it is proper that I write to you now that I have come of age, and my father agreed it would be a good thing. I admit I was unsure at first, but I think it would be worse to remain silent. I am Robb Stark, heir to Winterfell.
