Ankh also believes that he has the right to get whatever he wants and detests having to give something away if there's no benefit for him. He is also at odds with the other Greeed, being seen as a traitor by them. In general, Ankh focuses only on obtaining enough Medals to regain his complete body, having no qualms betraying others to accomplish his goals. Since possessing a human body, Ankh has been able to experience real emotions and the full effect of the five senses, something an incomplete Greeed normally cannot do. The most prominent example of this effect is his ability to taste food, resulting in him developing a strong liking for popsicles. True to his bird nature, Ankh also shows a preference for high places, frequently resting somewhere high in his quarters shared with Eiji, and jumping out of the window when leaving. Ankh also dislikes eating poultry, though will do so if forced by Hina. Evidently, Ankh's time spent in Shingo's body significantly changed his outlook on life, fueling Ankh's disgust at being a "mere" Greeed. Believing that he and his brethren were not truly alive as creatures, Ankh later decided to align with Maki's side, much to Hina's shock. As time passed however, Ankh began feeling conflicted over his selfish actions, recognizing that he had genuinely become attached to Eiji and Hina. To his own shock, Ankh ultimately saved Eiji from Maki, causing the latter to abolish their shared partnership. Mortally wounded from Maki's attack, Ankh had his Core Medals taken, losing his chance to "evolve" as planned. Yet, for the first time in his life, Ankh felt a sense of satisfaction, being glad to have helped his friend. Rejoining Eiji's group, Ankh assisted them in stopping Maki, sacrificing himself in the end. Appearing as a spirit, Ankh told Eiji that he had gained what he wanted, namely life itself. Knowing the importance of gathering information, Ankh regularly carries a tablet or a smartphone for intel, giving him a significant edge against foes. appearance: Ankh's appearance throughout the series, this was resulted after his right hand sealed by the King when accessing the power of all Core Medals. Due to this, Ankh needs to possess Shingo Izumi for the most of time. Though he can still separate from his host, but he must return back possessing Shingo otherwise the two would die. When separated, Ankh can fly as a method to travel. Right after his death in the final episode, Ankh was left as a spectral flying arm, tailing Eiji in his adventures until being revived. Abilities: Greeed Physiology: As a Greeed, Ankh has superhuman powers and birdlike abilities true to the race he represents, though regressed when in the state of a single arm. Cell Medal Transmutation: Ankh can turn his body into a mass of Cell Medals, them reforming it back to his original state. Flight: Thanks to his bird-like physiology, he can fly even as a single right arm. Mental Preservation: Should Ankh had been destroyed, he can still be revived as long as his main Core Medal intact. O Medal Detection: Ankh can detect any active presences of O Medal-based lifeforms, such as Greeds and Yummies.
