"You're granny's favorite lovebunny." This was the answer she received from her adoptive grandmother. For as long as she could remember, they had lived in the slums of Lumina City. Though grandma was poor, she could always find a way to keep the girl fed and put her to sleep. During that time, the magic necklace on the girl's chest would always be beating slightly to the lullaby. According to her grandmother, she was already wearing the necklace when she was discovered. One, two, three, four! It was like the beats of love.

One day, grandma never woke up again... The girl stood by the frozen body for days, but couldn't find a way to wake her grandma up. The beating of the necklace on the girl's chest became slower and lighter.

She remembered these words from Harith, an enforcer of the Imperial Army. He was upset that the girl was tarnishing the clan's reputation of honesty and kindness. Despite all attempts at reprimands and punishment, the girl never changed. Harith's anger grew greater and greater, until one day he found that the girl had never returned to the Leonin clan... never knew who she was.

Lumina City was large enough that wanderers would often lose sight of themselves. The Leonin girl didn't know that she had a choice other than wandering. After several fights, Harith finally managed to bring the girl back to her homeland, the Gleaming Marsh.

Located in the central Azrya Woodlands, the Gleaming Marsh has been home to generations of Leonins. Years of wandering had put the girl on her guard. Always vigilant, she was like a stray cat that had been forcibly adopted. All she wanted was to escape her new home.
