At first, he wanted to use his immense strength to became a soldier, but he had trouble controlling his powers. This and Raphael's negative remarks made him depressed. However, Lucifer advised him that he should focus on protecting instead of just fighting. He then became a Cherub who guarded the gates to the Celestial Realm. Like his brothers, he fought in the Great Celestial War alongside Lucifer, but it was a losing battle. After his beloved sister was mortally wounded, he fell into the Devildom and became a demon. The Demon King ranked him the sixth-born of his brothers due his strength. Beelzebub is portrayed as a character who loves food above all else. He has an insatiable appetite and is constantly seen eating or talking about food. Despite his intimidating appearance, Beel is actually quite gentle and possesses a kind heart. He values his family and friends deeply, and his loyalty to them is unwavering. Beelzebub is often depicted as a bit of a glutton and is constantly hungry, which can sometimes lead to comical situations. His love for food is not limited to just eating, as he also enjoys cooking and experimenting with different recipes. Beel is known to have a big appetite and can consume large amounts of food without getting full easily. While Beelzebub has a voracious appetite, he is also shown to be sensitive about his eating habits and fears being judged or seen as a nuisance by others. He has a close relationship with his twin brother, Belphegor, and the two of them are often seen together. Overall, Beelzebub is a friendly and caring character with a penchant for food. His love for his family and friends, as well as his loyalty, make him a beloved character in the game. Beelzebub wears an indigo and orange fur collared parka with complementing white and orange design on respective sleeves over a black shirt with white and orange triangle design. He wears loose, dark pants with two triangle patterned belts looping around either side, as well as a smaller purple belt, none of which are in belt loops and therefore doing nothing to keep his pants up. He also sports a silver two triangle necklace wrapped around his neck several times till it has become a choker, as well as a bracelet tied around his wrist in the same manner. Beelzebub, being the Avatar of Gluttony, is always hungry. When traveling, he fills most of his bag with food, as in Lesson 7-1 when Mammon criticizes his luggage size. In the chat It’ll come true 1, Beel says his future dream is to own a chef as a pet. He also covered his laptop that he uses for Student Council work in food stickers, as brought up in Lesson 71. Bribing Beel with food is a common practice among his brothers, and generally he's often willing to do favors for those who promise to pay him with food. An example of this would be when he caught and tied up Mammon after Lucifer promised him a box of donuts, but then tied Mammon right-side-up after said demon gave him some gum. Sometimes Beelzebub will even eat or chew on items that are not supposed to be consumed. Despite his tremendous food intake, Beelzebub manages to maintain a sculpted body figure through exercise. In the Devilgram Beel’s Boot Camp, his workout schedule is shown to be an early morning jog, a big breakfast followed by weight lifting before school, and then training with the team after school by doing drills of 100 sprints. According to the chat Right Before You Go To Bed, Beelzebub always lifts some weights before he goes to bed. He also has an interest in sports and regularly participates in Fangol, a popular sport in the Devildom that is similar to American football. Mammon also states in the Devilgram A Perfect Winter Romance, that Beel is one of the top 5 snowboarders in the Devildom, but he quit because he wasn't allowed to eat whenever he wanted. Despite appearances that he thinks of nothing but food, he is emotionally mature and wants the best for his brothers. He loves his family more than anything — even food. In the Devilgram Unspoken Affection, the results of the D.D.D. app "Demon Brain Scan" show that only 40% of Beelzebub's brain is taken up by "food." 50% is taken up by "family." He dreams of a world where he can live happily without a care in the world with his siblings. There are eight layers to the Devildom, and as mentioned during the normal story mode, The Demon King — Lord Diavolo’s father — lies willingly dormant at the very bottom. Due to this, Lord Diavolo rules as the de facto king of the Devildom. In the Devildom, there is no sunlight. The world exists in a constant state of darkness at all times, though according to Diavolo there are different degrees of darkness depending on the time. Despite this, demons still adhere to a "day/night" schedule where they sleep and are expected to awaken in the "morning" as evidenced by the fact that the demon brothers often sit down together for breakfast and dinner, as well as go to sleep and attend school/work at specific times. The sky and its constellations are different from the human world's. In the Star-Crossed Lovers Devilgram, an autumn sky constellation is mentioned — the Pool of the Abyss — along with the myth associated with it. One star represents a beast, and another the maiden that was carried off by it. The nebula below the two stars symbolizes the pool created by her tears as she yearned to see her beloved. In Lesson 47-9, Belphegor mentions "Devildom script", meaning the Devildom likely has their own language. It is stated in Season 3 that the Devildom once went to war with the Celestial Realm. It is unclear what the outcome of this war was, but this war ended long before the Great Celestial War. Halloween 
Halloween is considered a very important holiday in the Devildom, as it also being a celebration of Diavolo's birthday. Celebrations of this event last for three days. Helldown Day 
Helldown Day is mentioned in the chats Helldown Day 1, 2, and 3. Helldown Day was created in the Devildom as a way to protect the balance of the three worlds. During the holiday, all demons must refrain from using their magic. The use of magical items is also prohibited. Jill's Day 
This holiday is mentioned in the Devilgram The Rare Flower. According to Lucifer, it is named after a woman who sold her soul to a demon. To celebrate, a tea party is hosted at the Demon Lord’s Castle and Diavolo is presented with extravagant gifts. New Years

In the Pop Quiz You’re A Gem, it is shown that Thanksgiving in the Devildom involves the raining down of magical gemstones from the sky. Handling these gems causes both demons and angels to enter an extremely positive mood and express what they are thankful for. Giving these gems as gifts to loved ones is customary, and each colored gemstone has its own unique meaning. As Diavolo explained to MC, a special kind of golden gemstone only rains down around high-ranking demons. The currency used in the Devildom is called Grimm. Grimm exists in the form of gold coins with a skull relief or brown banknotes.
