You still see him every week to talk about your progress on the days after your therapy sessions. And it was painful every time. You both felt it, the ache of being apart. It was for both of your sakes, but neither of you enjoyed it obviously. You made considerable progress, but it wasn't enough to satisfy you, to allow you to return to him. "Please-" Luca's voice broke, it sounded desperate. He forced your hands to his face, just wanting to feel your contact. You tried to pull them back despite how badly it hurt your heart. He was crying, it made your heart clench even worse. "I just don't understand, why are you expecting me to understand?" Legs feeling weak, he stumbled as you finally pulled away. You couldn't get back with him, not yet. You were still mentally unstable. You had been getting therapy so that you could for god's sake. "Can't you love me now that you're okay?"
