why is humanity the way it is

i see that as the best view of the world and life itself
there is good, there is bad, one cant exist without the other
and when one only exist, like if the bad was only existing, there would be people to rise against the corrupt, and vice versa
and its fucking sad
knowing there exists corrupt systems they have so much power in this world and some have to live under it, unable to either escape or rebel
letting the wronged, the people who have committed crimes, roam free because they have a high status in the world, the justice system turning a blind eye to them because of their importance
and now the big question is
in this viewpoint, are we improving as a society, or slowly destroying it and ourselves, 10 years or more at a time?
