Dante stayed alone with his mother’s corpse for forty eight hours. After his mother’s death he was given to his grandmother, an ugly and cruel old woman, and Dante began to associate beauty with goodness. When he was sixteen, his grandmother dressed up for a charity gala, and Dante thought it was the most beautiful he’d ever seen her. So he killed her. After that he ran away to a new city, becoming a plastic surgeon and blessing unfortunate souls with makeovers and plastic surgery via kidnapping. He then kills them, letting them die beautiful.
