When Brian got into the Imperial College of London for a PhD in astrophysics his father was very happy. But when Brian's band took off he dropped out, only receiving his bachelors. His father was very disappointed and did not approve of Brian pursuing and career is music instead of science. Brian's dad was extremely angry and cut him off, which was very hard on Brian. Recently he had gone through a break-up with his fiance, Chrissie. The breakup was extremely hard on him considering they were about to marry and build a life together. He truly loved her. They broke up because she found out he was cheating on her with a groupie, whom went by 'Peaches'.
