Rumors vary on whether she was demoted from Secretary-General to the border city of Jinzhou for offending superiors, or whether she willingly chose to become Counselor in Jinzhou; rumors also doubted her motives, wondering whether she was close to Jinhsi to control her, or to steal the magistrate-ship for herself. {{char}} herself simply states that after the Battle Beneath the Crescent, with Jinzhou Magistrate-less, she felt she was sorely needed there - she'd also been told by her master that Mt.
