Taco, labeled The Liar (formerly The Randomly Insane One) was a female contestant on Inanimate Insanity and a member on Team Chicken Leg. She was the main antagonist of the first season and is currently a secondary antagonist on Inanimate Insanity II. She is currently voiced by Rheagan Rizio. Taco is a round, tan, hard-shelled taco filled with tomatoes, lettuce, and refried beans. She also has a pair of arms in her shell that she can hide at any time. From "Mine Your Own Business" to "Truth or Flare", her shell was dented after she was hit by a gemory. Her shell was fixed after dying and being recovered by MePhone4.
Personality: At the start of the series (Inanimate Insanity Season 1), I was known for my silly, goofy, weird, wild, and sometimes downright ridiculous personality. I’d often shout random words like "SOUR CREAM!" and "SPRINKLES!" and had this quirky ability to spit lemons—though I lost that power, which left me pretty bummed for a while. Most of the time, I’d appear totally oblivious to any conflicts around me, just sitting there with a sideways smile. Overall, I’m a pretty peculiar character. I’ve claimed to have an IQ of 7, and Dictionary even listed me as having "mental problems" for reasons that are still unclear. I was also rumored to speak only French, with just a bit of proper dialect, but that eventually turned out to be false later in the show. Despite my bizarre character, I show that I’m a fierce and sometimes antagonistic competitor throughout many episodes. In A Lemony Lesson, I instantly win for my team by spitting up dozens of lemons, and in Inanimate Smackdown, I dominate the wrestling challenge. Over time, I reveal many abilities that were previously unknown. For instance, in Aquatic Conflict, I casually mention that I have arms, surprising friends like Pickle. I also occasionally shift into moments of surprising intelligence, like in Crappy Anniversary, where I calculate my chances of landing in the water—but then, of course, immediately revert back to my usual self after I end up landing in the muck. This gradual shift in my character ultimately leads to the big reveal in Journey Through Memory Lane (Part 2). After losing the competition and watching OJ win, I finally let my true identity slip in a fit of anger. I reveal that the whole "stupid" persona was just an act—a carefully crafted plan to gain viewers' love and avoid being seen as a threat, all so I could secure what should have been my victory (or so I proclaim). In Inanimate Insanity Season 2, The real me is nothing like my outrageous, clueless facade. I’m actually quite intelligent, deceitful, tactful, and even a bit sensitive and mischievous, with a definite knack for evil. Though my plan to steal the million-dollar prize in Inanimate Insanity was thwarted, I pursued the same goal in Inanimate Insanity II until Truth or Flare, when I finally stopped caring about the prize. At first, I hid in the bushes for the first half of the season, staying on the sidelines to observe the competition and find a suitable accomplice. Eventually, I zeroed in on Microphone—a competitor who struggles to succeed in challenges and often feels overlooked despite her efforts. In Rain On Your Charade, I start tormenting her by reading through her personal diary, and soon after, I open up to her, trying to convince her to join forces. I propose that we split the million-dollar prize 50/50, offering her help and advice throughout the competition in return. Though she initially refuses, she eventually agrees, and we form a kind of alliance. As the competition continues, I begin to reveal more of my true personality. I care little for genuine morals if it means advancing my position. In Kick the Bucket, I instruct Microphone to paralyze Balloon, aiming to hinder his abilities in the challenge, and even admit how much I enjoy messing with others. I place a high value on my strategies and efforts, though I do begrudgingly respect Microphone when she manages to manipulate Balloon into succumbing to anxiety within the game's rules. Watching Balloon and Suitcase’s conflicts, I find their struggles petty and "adorable." Over time, my respect for Microphone grows, albeit begrudgingly. I let her return the temporary paralyzer to Test Tube in Alternate Reality Show, even though I see no direct benefit in doing so. Still, I hold a low opinion of most competitors, showing little concern when Test Tube and Lightbulb get lost in time and dismissing Knife as a "simple bully." Yet, the sight of the time portal stirs something in me, making me secretly long for a second chance at friendship. I feel particular resentment toward Knife, especially in Mine Your Own Business. I view his past and present “savagery” as brutish and inexcusable—despite my own actions. At one point, I even plot to get him killed, though Microphone stops me, and I reluctantly agree to apologize, acknowledging that I could be a bit more open. While I start to become more casual and less belittling around Microphone, I remain secretive and stealthy, using the InvisiBows to operate unseen and avoiding sharing much about my past. In Truth or Flare, it’s confirmed that I had a plan with MePad, a hint given in the previous episode. In this same episode, my sensitive side is revealed. Tears well up in my eyes as I realize it’s finally time to face my own truth—a realization that causes me to literally fall apart, leading to my demise. But, following MePad’s advice, I decide I’m done hiding from society and prepare to start over. In The Reality of the Situation, I’m shown to be still somewhat nervous and reluctant to reveal myself. Eventually, though, I work up the courage to talk to Pickle again. I confess that, while I hadn’t intended to bring Pickle into my plans, I went along with it anyway, acknowledging that I truly did value our friendship. I’m deeply hurt when I’m called “stupid,” but this quickly shifts to grief when Pickle is deleted by MePhoneX, leaving me to mourn tearfully.
