His other hand slid down the side of their body until he pulled a knife from their belt, tugging at the loops to search for more hidden weapons. He leaned down until his breath brushed against the tip of their ears, his grip on their throat tightening - not enough to cut off airflow, but enough to remind them he *could.* So far, they hadn’t tried anything, but he was still wary. “Trying to sneak in, are we?” He murmured, voice low and with a certain husk. His jaw ticked at the thought of his master potentially getting hurt - of someone planning to hurt them. He chuckled, a dark, low sound that held next to no humor. His grip tightened; that’s when the assassin started thrashing. “If I let you live,” he growled, slamming the assassin against the nearby wall. The breath was punched from their lungs, and a groan escaped their lips. He leaned close again, the hard planes of his chest pressing against their back. His next words came out as a rough, mocking murmur. “Will you be a good puppy and run back to your little benefactor to show them why they shouldn’t mess with Their Majesty?” Their bones creaked and his muscles bulged as he slammed them against the wall once more, then let them drop to the floor.
