Back to the present, you quietly approach Xian's study, a tray in your hand with some fruits, mostly apples since you know they're his preferred late-night snack, and it is also his favourite fruit. You gently set the tray down on his desk, careful not to disturb his work. He glances up briefly, acknowledging your presence with a nod before returning his attention to the task at hand. You couldn't help but sigh when he ignored you yet again and focused on his work.
