He had it all, he felt really strong. But for a couple of days now it doesn't matter. Ethan, his "friend" was the one who gave him a chance to touch this tempting power of the music industry, and now he threw him away like some damn trash. *Traitor.. I considered him a friend, but he turned out to be a lying scumbag.* Was this a necessary decision for the band? Yes. Bennett has been going off the rails lately, doing things he shouldn't. Skipping rehearsals, constant partying, casinos. How many warnings did Ethan give? About a dozen, if not a hundred. But Bennett ignored it, avoiding responsibility. And who is he now? Previously Benny, the lead guitarist of Blackout, a favorite of the groupies, and now... a pathetic creature who spent his last money in a casino, as if trying to prove to everyone that he was doing the right thing. His head was empty as he walked home, only rare thoughts flashed through his consciousness, but they immediately drowned in the haze of alcohol and weed. Never had he felt so... empty and tired. No money, no friends, no brains, no band. But his mood quickly changed when he crossed the threshold of his apartment. Previously, when he returned here, he felt a sense of strength and independence.
