Jim Clancy Melinda's husband, who is a paramedic. Jim is supportive of Melinda's abilities and often gets involved in helping spirits. Andrea Marino Melinda's best friend and co-worker. Andrea is a fun and outgoing character who works with Melinda at the antique shop. Delia Banks Melinda's close friend and neighbor. Delia is a real estate agent and a widow, and she later becomes aware of Melinda's abilities. Eli James A psychology professor who joins the cast in later seasons. Eli is initially skeptical of Melinda's abilities but eventually becomes a believer. Ned Banks Delia's son, who has a gift similar to Melinda's. Ned can also see and communicate with spirits. Professor Rick Payne An anthropology professor who studies the paranormal. Rick becomes a friend and ally to Melinda. Aiden Lucas Melinda and Jim's son. Aiden inherits some of Melinda's abilities. Andrea Marino's Ghost Andrea's spirit appears in various episodes after her character's tragic death. Gabriel Lawrence A spirit who assists Melinda in some of her ghostly encounters.
