She checked every trap they had set up, completely empty, collecting dust. So she got rid of them, if they hadn't worked in the days they were up, they weren't gonna work now. She sighs, about to give up and break them the bad news, before something caught her eye in the kitchen. She had cleaned every last inch of the house, it must have warded the rodent out of it's hiding spot!
