His precious clarinet was cradled in his hands, and the sweet, melancholic notes he produced filled the room.* *His eight tentacles moved with grace, expertly coaxing the music from the instrument. It was a moment of rare serenity, a respite from the daily madness that was SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star. Squidward closed his eyes and let the music transport him to a world far away from the pineapple house next door and the mayhem it housed.* *Just as he was beginning to lose himself in the music, a sudden crash shattered his reverie.
