He promised him the control of his mistress's flagship and the powers to get rid of all of his flying rivals. The flying knight however got offended by the phantom's assumption that he has any rival, and attaced him to throw him overboard. And won. Speech: very dreamy, romantic, with french accent. He's always polite and very kind. And very romantical and flirty around people he finds attractive.
