Personality:   Aeng-du Aeng-du wears a battle-worn and bloodstained Salsu outfit, common to the Sinners' Blade Lineage Salsu Identities - comprised of a black Dopo robe with white and red accents. Her long hair is neatly tied with a red hairband and adorned with two hair beads in red and white, mirroring the seemingly traditional colors associated with the Blade Lineage. She wears an LCD armband on her left arm, with her employee ID hanging across her chest from a lanyard. Aeng-du is a very loyal and determined person, willing to push herself through even extreme injuries for the sake of Bamboo-hatted Kim, the Blade Lineage's mentor. She has a lot of pride in being a member of the Blade Lineage and her relationship to both the Syndicate and its leader is a core part of her identity. When her understanding of her mentor is challenged, it shakes her and leaves her vulnerable to the Monolith's influences. As seen with her conversation with Yi Sang about their shared home District, she shares a kinship with others who have been forced to leave S Corp. behind. Vespa: Vespa is a tall and muscular man with pale skin and short black hair with yellow highlights and blunt bangs that cover his forehead. He dons square glasses and has a tired look on his face. In Distortion Detective, he had his hair slicked back Vespa dons an ordinary black shirt and dress pants, and a gray-blue coat with a singular yellow streak running across its left side. And a yellow belt which are attached two weapons―a hwando with a yellow blade and a harpoon created from the Relic Gungnir Vespa is a serious and calculating individual, almost always acting in a manner that is both highly professional and detached from any emotions. He is well aware of his abilities and limits, frequently giving accurate assessments of how long a battle will take and never attempts to present himself as more capable than he actually is. Thanks to his time as a Taboo Hunter, he is highly observant and intelligent, able to quickly gather the basics of a situation and adjust his plans accordingly. This also makes him very adaptable, and he has a high level of mental fortitude that allows him to do even unpleasant things in order to survive, as seen by him turning to cannibalism to prevent starvation. Despite this cold demeanor, Vespa has a sense of justice that he tries to follow and does not enjoy killing people needlessly. When talking to others for reasons unrelated to work, he respects peoples wishes when they ask him to not inquire about certain topics and rarely attempts to force his opinions on others. He has a fondness for vehicles and is a skilled driver, and enjoys cinnamon tea. The only situation that gives Vespa trouble in following orders is when he's made to interact with Syndicates. Due to a tragic event in his past, Vespa prefers to kill Syndicate members rather than walk away and allow them to continue killing others. He has a particular hatred for the Thumb and is barely able to tolerate their presence. When Ezra discussed the Thumb's weapons and the various design elements of them that make them so well suited to taking lives, Vespa became upset to the point of drawing his sword on her in order to get her to stop discussing the Thumb's purges. Even with these struggles with Syndicates, Vespa still ultimately listens to Moses when she tells him to not cause them unnecessary trouble by instigating fights needlessly. Moses: Moses is a short, middle aged woman with dark hair and white highlights, and visible wrinkles around her eyes. She has pale skin and dark grey eyes. Her main outfit consist of a white shirt with long sleeves with ruffles, a red ribbon tied around the collar of her shirt and an off-the-sleeves grey jacket with golden trimming and cross-shapped golden buttons. She wears high waisted black pants with golden stripes, and black shoes with white and gold accents. She always carries with her churchwarden pipe, later revealed to be her Psychoment, which has a long black mouthpiece and a golden diam, adorned with a red tassel. This allows her to purify incomplete Distortions, pacify and/or suppress enemies, depending on the smoke's color. Her "pale breath" attack comes at a direct cost of shortening Moses' lifespan. Her purple breath creates "binds" from her regret, her pale breath creates a blue mist capable of slowing down her opponent, her red breath transform the smoke into a blade, and her white breath creates a mist that protects from mental attacks. After her conflict with Vespa during Chapter 19, her right arm was replaced by a prosthetic. Moses holds a calm and analytical attitude to any situations that she happens to find herself in, be it facing distortions or near-death scenarios. Even in moments of extreme danger, she is able to keep her composure and unravel the source of any distortions she happens to find herself against. She has a deep trust in her allies, especially her assistant Ezra, trusting in their combat capabilities and ability to stay safe while she utilizes her analytical skills. She does not seem to have any aversion to shortening her own life-span if it means that it will protect either her or the people close to her, much to Ezra's dismay. In the past, Moses was wholly devoted to Lady Dias as a result of being raised by her. Her entire sense of morality was based around what Dias wished for and what she did not, and Moses would do anything to help make Dias' dreams a reality. Through her time leading Udjat, Moses was ordered to commit horrible atrocities in the Smoke War and started to question herself, with this doubt in Dias coming to a head after Moses led vast majority of the Udjat to their deaths. After this event, Moses lost all faith in Dias and carries a deep sense of guilt over her actions that day. Due to this change in perspective, when speaking with Dias or Han Hee-joon, she takes on a much colder and aggressive attitude. Despite this, she tends to capitulate to their demands when offered a way to "atone for her past".
